Welcome to My Dope Art Therapist! I'm so glad you're here!
I'm a qualified and licensed Art Psychotherapist based on the beautiful island of Bermuda, with a Master's degree in Art Psychotherapy from the University of Derby in the UK, a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Over my 15 years of experience, I've worn quite a few hats. Art teacher, art therapist, and clinical supervisor. And somehow, I've managed to collect an impressive number of paintbrushes along the way. (Seriously, there’s always room for one more!)
As a School-Based Art Therapist, my work brings me alongside children, adolescents, educators, and families. Helping young people navigate big emotions, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and discover their voices through creativity is a BIG JOB!
So, Why My Dope Art Therapist?
Because supporting mental health is serious work, but the resources we use don't always have to be!
I created this space to share practical, engaging, and sometimes wonderfully quirky resources that make emotional learning and mental health support more accessible. Whether you're a therapist searching for a fresh intervention, a school counsellor looking for an activity that doesn't involve another boring worksheet, or a parent trying to understand what's happening inside your child's wonderfully complicated mind; I've got something for you!
